CRAWLAGON XL 20° RTI Ramp – Measure Your Rig's True Flex!
Take your RC crawler testing to the next level – not just test your suspension articulation, but quantify it with the official Ramp Travel Index (RTI) score!
The CRAWLAGON XL 20° RTI Ramp is a precision 3D-printable design perfect for 1/16 to 1/32 scale crawlers (maybe even 1/10th... this thing is huge!). Featuring built-in scoring tables, it makes calculating RTI scores quick and easy – no math required!
most rigs will only require the first 2 tiles but the 3rd is included just incase you have that extra flex!!
How to Use:
- Drive one front wheel slowly up the 20° ramp until the opposite rear wheel lifts off the ground.
- Note the distance marker RTI score reached on the ramp.
Built-in Scoring Tables:
- Top row: Distance traveled up the ramp (in mm).
- Second row: RTI scores for 99mm wheelbase (e.g., SCX30 and similar short-wheelbase rigs).
-
Third row: RTI scores for 132mm wheelbase, including:
- Axial SCX24 Bronco
- Axial SCX24 JLU
- Axial SCX24 C10
- Axial SCX24 Deadbolt
-
Fourth row: RTI scores for 155mm wheelbase, including:
- Traxxas TRX-4M (1/18 scale)
- Redcat Ascent Apex
- Axial SCX24 Power Wagon
- Axial SCX24 Gladiator
Simply match the distance marker to your rig's wheelbase row and read your RTI score directly!
What the Scores Mean:
- An RTI score of 1000 is excellent – equivalent to top-tier articulation on full-size off-road vehicles.
- Stock vehicles typically score around 500.
- Formula for reference: RTI Score = (Distance up ramp in mm ÷ Wheelbase in mm) × 1000
Challenge yourself and your builds – see how far your modifications take you! Perfect for comparing stock vs. upgraded setups.
RTI Score= distance on ramp " / Wheelbase " * 1000
