Welcome to the Crawlagon System!
CRAWLAGON offers premium 3D printable digital files for building fully customizable RC rock crawling courses, perfect for 1/18th to 1/32nd scale crawlers (and even smaller rigs!).
The CRAWLAGON system features modular hexagonal tiles with a secure interlocking keystone pin design, allowing you to create massive spans, steep inclines, elevated platforms, and complex terrains with minimal supports. Mix and match standard 150mm tiles and larger XL 225mm tiles seamlessly using included adapters—the pin spacing ensures perfect compatibility.
Choose from a wide variety of packs to build your ultimate course:
- Terrain and Landscape Packs — Diverse rocky surfaces and natural formations.
- Rock Packs — Single, multiple, or full-tile rocks, with grip-enhanced "G" versions for extra traction.
- Surface Packs — Ideal for platforms, slopes, and fillers.
- Vertical Packs — 30° and 40° inclines plus supports to take your build to new heights.
- Obstacle Series — Challenging features like bridges, arches, cliffs, and gates.
Each design includes multiple pin sizes for perfect fits across different printers, plus numbered bases and labels on multi-tile sets for easy assembly.
Start small with free sample rocks, or go all-in with comprehensive packs—instant digital downloads mean you can start printing and crawling right away.
3D Printing:
Every design is optimized for 3D printing! Each download includes the .STL files for the main design, interlocking pins, and a blank base tile.
I’m also starting to include Bambu Studio .3mf project files on the new designs, complete with all the print settings I used during testing for the best results.

Locking Pins:
Each tile features interlocking keystone pins that securely connect the tiles together, allowing them to span large distances and form inclines or platforms with minimal additional supports.
Due to natural variations in 3D printing and between different printers, every design includes multiple pin sizes. I recommend printing the standard Pin, Pin +.1, and Pin -.1 in different colors — this makes it easy to identify the correct size during assembly.

Multiple Tile Designs:
For multi-tile designs (such as Terrains and Obstacles), each tile has numbers 3D-printed into the base that correspond to the connecting tile (highlighted in green). Simply match the numbers on adjacent tiles and insert the pins for a perfect fit!
Each tile is also clearly labeled (highlighted in blue) to indicate which set it belongs to and its specific tile number.

Print Settings:
Here’s a video demonstrating my recommended print settings, which help save filament while maintaining excellent structural integrity.
Print settings are crucial for filament efficiency! Using the wrong ones can consume up to 3× more filament than necessary - unless, of course, you’re planning to drive a full-scale 4x4 over your print! 😊
XL vs Regular designs:
Here’s a quick comparison showing the size difference between the standard 150mm tiles and the larger XL 225mm tiles. The pictures below also demonstrates how the tiles interlock securely and how the XL Adapter allows you to connect standard tiles to XL tiles seamlessly.
